The papers on Saturday announce the death of James GANONG of St. Stephen (Charlotte Co.) Deceased was the president of the St. Croix Soap Manufacturing Co. Four years ago he dissolved partnership with his brother, G.W. GANONG with whom he was connected in the confectionery business and since that time has been in the manufacture of soap. The deceased was in the city Saturday 14th inst. and the following Monday took seriously ill with congestion of the lungs and lingered to Saturday 3 p.m. when he died.
