A despatch to the 'Telegraph' 27th ult. says, a young man about 20 years of age, named John CURTIS belonging to Dunlap Settlement, was killed at Mill Stream yesterday while assisting to break a landing of logs. Some hundreds of logs passed over his body, carrying him forward into the river, and killing him instantly.
