Charles ALLEN, Gibson (York Co.) dropped dead while at work in his field at Gibson yesterday. Deceased was in the 66th year of his age and leaves a large grown-up family. Mr. Allen had been in his usual good health and left his house in the morn. to do a little work in the field near by. He had not been gone more than 20 minutes when he was seized with a fainting attack and passed away in a few minutes. The funeral takes place from his residence tomorrow 10 o'clock. The remains will be interred in the Sunny Bank cemetery.
