This morn. Catherine KENNEDY passed away at her son, Daniel KENNEDY's residence, 38 Lower Water St., Halifax, N.S. and up to the last was in full possession of her faculties. She was over 100 years of age. She came to this country over 50 years ago at Dartmouth joined her father and brothers who were living there and had for years been engaged on the Shubenacadie Canal. Her husband went from there to New York where he died. She leaves three sons, Maurice KENNEDY, the oldest, who is nearly allotted four score years; Michael KENNEDY who is in New York and Daniel, the youngest with whom she lived. Cornelius KENNEDY, father of the deceased died in Dartmouth, age 107 and her grandmother died in Ireland age 111. - 'Halifax Recorder'
