A sad accident occurred at Read's quarry, Stonehaven (Glouc. Co.) about 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. While Joseph PINET and some other men were working with a derrick, it suddenly fell, killing Pinet and injuring two other men named Amos COMMEAU, foreman and Fred HACHE, but not seriously. Pinet belongs to St. Joseph's near Grand Anse. He leaves a widow and four small children.
