On Tuesday 3rd Sept., about 10:30 p.m., James CRAIG, Supervisor of Roads, was driving through Dalhousie (Rest. Co.) on his way to Campbellton. The night was very dark and Mr. C. ran into another waggon, going in the opposite direction. He was taken to a house near and put to bed. Next morn. his sleep appeared to deep as to excite alarm. A physician was summoned but too late. Ere his arrival life had become extinct. He was about 63 years of age, left wife, family.
