A Berwick, N.S. correspondent to the 'Halifax Herald' writes: There died at South Berwick on Friday 9th March, Mrs. Elizabeth TAYLOR, aged 107 years 6 mos. Her maiden name was Elizabeth FOSTER. Mrs. Taylor's great-grandmother was 106 years old when she died. Her grandmother died when she was 96. Her father died at 96. Five years ago, five of the family were living. The following ages of four of them, Mrs. Taylor, 102, Benjamin FOSTER, father of Edward C. FOSTER, Postmaster, 100; Samuel FOSTER of Greenville, 98; Mrs. Susan TUPPER, Aylesford, 96. Philip FOSTER, the only survivor of the family is now 88 years old. He is an active farmer. Mrs. Taylor was the mother of 12 children. John TAYLOR, her eldest son, 81 years old, was a mourner at her funeral. He has taken care of his mother for nearly 30 years past.
