Howard BISHOP s/o Silas BISHOP was drowned at Hopewell Hill (Albert Co.) Saturday afternoon. He was out gunning on the marsh during the afternoon. Some men were working in the schr. "Victoru" which was hauled up for the winter and when they came out they found his gun on the dyke. Search was made and the body was found in the water near by. It is supposed the young man attempted to get to the vessel on a cake of ice and was thrown into the water. - Moncton 'Times'
