John FOSTER, the well known Prince William Street grocer, ended his life about 8:30 o'clock yesterday morn. by cutting his throat while in a fit of despondency. ... The deceased was about 54 years of age. He was a regular attendant of St. James Episcopal Church and was a quiet and unassuming man. From the shock Mrs. Foster is prostrated with grief. The deceased leaves three children, two boys and a girl. They are Arthur FOSTER, age 13 years; Fred FOSTER, age 8 years and Edith FOSTER, age 11 years. He has three brothers, Arthur FOSTER, who keeps a grocery store at the corner of St. James and Carmarthen streets, his other two brothers, Robert FOSTER and Thomas FOSTER reside at St. Martins (see original)
