Two days ago a letter reached us dated Grand Manan (Charlotte Co.) 22nd September, conveying the melancholy information that James MILLER, Keeper of the Gannet Rock and his hired man were drowned on the previous Saturday eve. in attempting to pass from the rock to Three Islands. The boat has been picked up on the shore of these islands, but the men's bodies have not yet been found.
