Boston 'Herald' - A year ago there was a happy household at No. 146 Massachusetts Avenue, the home of Mr. and Mrs. S.A. WETMORE. Monday last it was rendered desolate by the loss of their only remaining child, 9 year old Edith WETMORE and Thursday afternoon came the final parting. The floral tributes were profuse, including a broken harp of Easter lillies from Mr. and Mrs. E.J. WETMORE, grandparents of the child. At the conclusion of the service the body of the little one was born to Forest HIlls, the bearers being John ELDER and George ELDER, her uncles and Joseph DUANE and Thomas J. DUANE, her cousins. She was laid to rest in the family lot by the side of her sisters. Three times within a year Mr. and Mrs. Wetmore have been called upon to bear the grief of parting, First it was baby Mildred WETMORE, who died last summer from an attack of scarlet fever; and then it was 7 year old Florence WETMORE, who passed away but two months ago from gastritis, which also the form in which death came to Edith, the eldest and last.
