Charles SMITH, Sparmaker, while at work in Mr. Sulis' Ship yard, back shore, Lower Cove (St. John) had his back broken a few days since, by a stick of timber falling upon him and he now lies in a precarious state. Mr. SMITH's brother met with a precisely similar accident about a year since, from the effect of which he died in a few days.
