The SAND family were assembled at Parrsboro, N.S. on Tuesday to solicit all information and to ascertain the exact genealogy of the family. They met at the Union House here, kept by D. McNAMARA whose mother is a daughter of Miss SAND after she married Michael ATKINSON of Apple River. The family were represented by Michael Atkinson of Apple River, who is the youngest son of this Amy SAND and the only son living; also by men by the names of FULLERTON, McALONEY, CANNING, TAYLOR, ROSCOE, BROWN, FULTON, QUINN and Sons of St. John and William ATKINSON, son of said Amy. Mrs. Atkinson's family consisted of ten daughters and three sons. There are now but four daughters and one son. The four living are Mrs. McNAMARA, Mrs. QUINN, Mrs. FULTON, and Mrs. Robert FULLERTON. They appointed a committee to procure the statistics and all the necessary means to find their heirship to the $65 million. -Sackville 'Post'.
