At Jemseg (Queens Co.) recently the residence of the late John DYKEMAN was the scene of a brilliant wedding, the contracting parties being James W. OLMSTEAD of Canning and Mrs. Frankie Lounsbury DYKEMAN. Miss Myra B. OLMSTEAD, neice of both bride and groom, acted as maid of honor and John BALMAIN was the best man. At the bride's neck was a solid silver clasp bearing the initials 'F.L.' worn by her grandmother, Miss Frances LOUNSBURY when she married Nathaniel COTTLE nearly 80 years ago. The eve. was the 39th anniversary of the bride's parents wedding anniversary. The ceremony was performed by Rev. J.D. Wetmore and the bride was given away by her brother-in-law, Capt. Miles S. OLMESTEAD. Many were the gifts of friends in Boston where Miss Dykeman has been keeping books for a few years. She also received presents from her brothers in Seattle, Washington.
