Wilson's Beach, Oct. 7 - N.G. BABCOCK arrived home Saturdat last with the remains of his brother, Daniel W. BABCOCK, who met death by accidental drowning in Lawrence, Mass., 17th ult. While he and two other men were sailing in the river in a canoe, the canoe upset and though a good swimmer he was seized with cramps and sank. He was a s/o late Rev. F. BABCOCK and was but 23 years of age. Several years ago, when living at Chegoggin, N.S., he was baptized by his father and joined the church. His remains were interred in the F.C. Baptist Cemetery, Sabbath last. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. J.B. Daggett.
