Ex-Sheriff Laman N. DOUCETT died at his residence Bathurst (Glouc. Co.) about noon Tuesday. The deceased had been suffering from a severe cold for some days and on Monday pneumonia set in with fatal results. Mr. Doucett was 47 years of age and highly esteemed. Rev. Joseph R. DOUCETT and Rev. S.J. DOUCETT, brother and cousin of the deceased, arrived in Bathurst shortly before his death. Deceased was a cousin of Mrs. J.C. VAUTOUR of Richibucto (Kent Co.)
