Letters From the People - Sir: In the issue of the Daily News of 13th April, I noticed the following paragraph. "A despatch from Woodstock this afternoon states that John T. McCAFFERTY who was killed near Gorham, N.H., was the eldest s/o late Philip McCAFFERTY, formerly Police Magistrate of Woodstock, etc. I was somewhat surprised on first reading the above because I knew it was untrue. I am as hale and hearty as I ever was and can eat three square meals a day .... (sgd) John McCAFFREY eldest s/o late Philip McCAFFREY of Woodstock, April 22, 1882.
