On Saturday 3rd inst., George A. WHITENECT of Rouse Town, Havelock (Kings Co.), an old resident, went to his barn in the morn. to fill a straw bed. The family thought he was stopping out too long and when they went to the barn found him lying on the loft insensible. Drs. MacDonald and Stockton were sent for. They pronounced their patient a hopeless case. In the afternoon he expired without ever speaking, leaving a large family. The coroner's jury came to the conclusion that the deceased had died of apoplexy.
