On Friday last Mrs. CARTER of Onslow, N.S. while doing some washing at the brook near her house, sent her little daughter into the house with a can of water and a few moments after heard screams and saw the child running toward her with her clothes on fire. Every particle of clothing was burned and the little sufferer only lived about two hours after the occurrence. She was the daughter of Charles CARTER who was killed on the track a short time ago. - 'Truro Sun'
