The funeral of Capt. Jacob FRITZ, age 59 years 10 mos., commander of the "Cedar Grove" took place from his residence, Crown St., yesterday. The two sons and two brothers of the deceased walked as Chief Mourners. The remains were interred in the family lot in Rural Cemetery (Fernhill Cemetery), Rev. Dr. Hopper officiating at the grave. Pall bearers were Capt. Charles TAYLOR, Harbour Master W. THOMAS; A. BETTS, B. CREAMER, Michael THOMPSON, D. BODIE. (see original D.T. Dec. 2 'Loss of Cedar Grove')
