Some 7 or 8 weeks ago, a disease ressembling a violent form of dysntry made its appearance among the people residing on the Gagetown road (Queens Co.) George SUTTON first contracted the disease on his way home from St. John. One of his children, age 6 years next took it and died. Soon the malady began to spread and most of the people attacked only lived a couple of days and died in fearful agony. James McKINNEY lost a daughter, age 18, and two young children. James HASTINGS lost one child. A man named Thomas COOPER also died and his whole family numbering four are now sick.
