The community was painfully shocked Saturday eve. when word was passed around that a young man named Seymour GOULD had been run over by the train at St. George Street railway crossing and had both leggs cut off. The unfortunate man died of his injuries at fifteen minutes past midnight, little more than six hours after he was found. The deceased young man has been employed on the street for the last 3 or 4 years off and on. During the last three weeks he had been working at the Queen's Hotel, driving the herdick. The deceased was in his 21st year of age, being 21 the 14th day of next March. He is a son of James GOULD of I.C.R. shops and lived with his parents on East Market Street. His little brother, Hartley GOULD, is office boy for Dr. Botsford. (see original)
