A young lady named Miss McLELLAN from Red Point, Lot 47, P.E.I. to whom a pound cake, bought at a R.C. tea party was presented, obtained the use of her uncle's house, Donald McLELLAN, Little Harbor, to raffle in it on 2nd inst. When at the height of their merriment, a young man named Patrick DUNPHY, who was somewhat under the influence of liquor, left the house it is supposed to take a drink from a bottle which he had secreted outside. While out he stumbled into a deep well, the door of which time was open. In a few minutes he was taken up dead. The house of mirth was turned into a house of mourning. Mr. Dunphy was about 24 years of age.
