Patrick CONNORS, one of the oldest residents of Shediac Road, passed away last eve. at the home of his son, Martin CONNORS, Shediac Road in the 82nd year of his age. The deceased had only been ill for the last eleven days, up to which time he has enjoyed good health. Mr. Connors came to this country from County Galloway, Ireland, 56 years ago and was well known to the older residents in this vicinity. He leaves a family of nine grown up children: Thomas CONNORS of Nfld.; Patrick CONNORS of the I.C.R. works; Michael CONNORS of Shediac; Martin CONNORS of Shediac Road; Mrs. J.P. CONNELLY and Mrs. HAGERTY of Portland, N.B. and Mrs. O'NEILL of Vancouver, B.C. The funeral will take place from Sheidac Road to the Fox Creek cemetery tomorrow morn. 9 o'clock.
