A sad accident, attended with fatal results, occurred at Edmundston (Madawaska Co.) Monday night last. The 12 year old d/o Thomas CHASSE went up stairs to prepare for bed. She carried in her hand a medium sized lamp which exploded the moment she entered the bedroom. Her clothing was saturated with kerosene from head to foot and quickly she was embrouded in flames.
