Two lads, one of whom was Willie BETTINSON of the Bay Shore, were walking along that neighborhhod yesterday in search of dulse. Just opposite the Demill property they came across the body of a woman which turned out to be that of Mrs. Thomas FITZGERALD. The authorities were notified and Sgt. Ross had the body removed to Mrs. Fitzgerald's residence, Carleton (St. John) where an inquest was held last night by Coroner White. The jury returned a verdict to the effect that the deceased had come to her death by drowning at the Bay Shore while under mental depression and temporary insanity. Mrs. Firzgerald was 40 years of age. (see original for testimonies of Willie BETTINSON, A.C. KEMPTON, Miss Mary LANE and Thos. FITZGERALD)
