A cablegram to George N. SPINNEY of Yarmouth, N.S. from Capt. F.C. DOTY of the Yarmouth ship "Ismir" at Buenos Ayres, conveys the intelligence of the death of his brother Capt. James C. DOTY, formerly of Yarmouth, master of steamship "Gaida". Capt. Doty was a s/o Charles DOTY of Hebron and a son-in-law of the late Capt. Amos HEALY. He leaves a widow and two children resident in Buenos Ayres.
