A San Francisco correspondent sends us an account of a Regatta rowed there on Thanksgiving Day in which the "Neptune" Manned by a St. John crew won the four oared race. The "Neptune" was built by Christopher COYLE of Carleton (St. John) during his residence in Victoria some years ago, and with her crew of St. John men had beaten everything with which she had come in contact. On this occasion she was rowed by John HOLLAND, James FITZPATRICK, D. LYHART? and John DOWLING, all Carleton (St. John) men, we believe. (see original)
