Capt. John ARNOLD died at his home 40 Allen St., Halifax, N.S., April 8, 1892, 41st year. Our brother professed faith in Christ in early life, was baptized by Rev. Jas. Meadows, united with the Baptist church at Jeddore and remained a consistent member until his removal to Halifax eight years ago when he united with the Third Church. On board his ship, whether at sea or in port, whenever convenient he would call his crew together for prayers. He has left a wife and six children.
