A young woman named Mary Ann McCURDY belonging to Lubec, Maine and for the last four years a resident of the lower part of (St. John) city applied about 8 o'clock Monday night at a house occupied by Richard BRADY and his wife on Carmarthen St. for lodging. She was told that she might sleep in the room with the little girls and she went to bed. About 7 o'clock yesterday morn. she was found dead.
