The death of John MOWATT took place Thursday morn., May 28th. The funeral took place Saturday afternoon, James FIRTH, Robert GORDON, William ANDERSON, Alexander MANDERSON, S. HABBERLEY and S. WADDLETON being pall bearers. A numerous concourse followed his remains to their last resting place in St. John Church burial ground.
