The body reported in the late edition of the 'Globe' Saturday as having been found proved to be that of Samuel HUTTON. It was picked up off the coast at Little Musquash, some five miles out to sea and over twenty miles from the the "Primrose" went down on the fatal 21st August. Identification was complete. Mr. Hutton's gold watch, customs badge and other articles were found upon the body, which was, comparatively speaking, very little disfigured. Mr. Beatteay, the Carleton undertaker, at once sent his assistant and Robert FULTON of the Customs service, Mr. Hutton's fellow oarsman of the Paris Crew, also went down, coffined the body and brought it to Mr. Beatteay's rooms. Coroner Berryman gave permission for the interment. Mrs. Hutton had returned from Boston last week and all the arrangements were at once perfected for the funeral which took place at 3 o'clock this afternoon from the Old Fort, Carleton. It was in charge of the Carleton Union Lodge of Freemasons of which the deceased had long been a member and in which he had filled both warden's chairs. Members of Hibernia and other St. John lodges were also present. The services of the Presbyterian Church, at the house and grave, were yaken by Rev. Burgess of Carleton, assisted by Rev. Hickson. The pall bearers were Robert FULTON, George PRICE, W.D. BASKIN, W.J. CORNFIELD, Israel E. SMITH and J. Alfred RING. The remains were interred in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
