The death of Henry N. HAVILAND occurred yesterday morn. at 11 o'clock. He was 71 years of age. He slipped on the ice about 8 months ago, breaking his leg, which kept him in the house ever since. He felt very well before breakfast and ate hearty about one hour afterwards he was attacked by a pain in his heart and died in a few minutes before a doctor could be called in. Heart disease was the cause. He was unmarried and leaves two sisters and one brother. He was born in Nerepis in 1820, came to Carleton in 1850 and has resided here ever since. The funeral will take place from his residence Ludlow St., Carleton 9 o'clock tomorrow morn. The remains will be taken to Fairville and will be sent from there in the 10 o'clock train to Mount Hope near Nerepis and laid to rest beside his father and mother's grave.
