Amherst, N.S., 7th Oct.- James ANDREWS who some time worked with B. CHURCH of Fort Lawrence, N.S., took his gun and went out after dinner today to shoot plover on the Marsh. After he had been out some time, Mr. Church heard a splash. It was found that Mr. Andrews had gone on an island and on returning, the tide having overflowed the road, he had missed his footing and was drowned. After the tide went out, the body of the deceased was found and brought to the Amherst Court House where an inquest was held by Justice Cutten.
