Fredericton, Nov. 1 - The body of John HOLLINS, a mason by trade and a native of this city, was discovered in the river a short distance below Sherman's wharf this morn. Hollins was about 30 years of age and of intemperate habits. He had been in the employ of John LIMERICK, contractor for Woodstock Post Office until about one week ago, up to which time he worked on the building. The deceased was single man. Both his parents are dead and the only near relative living being Michael HOLLINS who has been employed on the American steamers between St. John and Boston. (see original for testimonies of Edward McMENIMAN, James ALCORN)
