Albert TAYLOR, five year old son of A.D. TAYLOR, Esq. met his death under peculiar circumstances. It is supposed that he was playing near the reservoir in the rear of the lock-up and, losing his footing, fell into the deep and muddy water. It soon transpired that a boy had been seen to fall into the reservoir by a lady on Prince William Street and efforts were commenced to find the child. M. SHAUGHNESSY died to the bottom of the reservoir and after one or two efforts, brought the body to the shore. The funeral took place Sunday and was attended by students of the Methodist Sunday School.
