The funeral of Robert F. HAZEN was largely attended. The Rector of Trinity conducted religious services. The pall bearers were: Francis FERGUSON, Peter BESNARD, John TUCKER, R.W. CRUIKSHANK, W.J. LAWTON and Thomas GILBERT. The body was conveyed to the Rural Cemetery. (Rural Cemetery is today known as Fernhill Cemetery, Westmorland Road, Saint John)
