Portland Press 15th - Linus SEELY, one of the Chesapeake pirates had an examination before Judge PARKER, Commissioner of the Admiralty at St. John, N.B. on Wednesday and Thursday last. The evidence offered was deemed by the court sufficient to warrant his being held for trial. Not being able to furnish bail, he was committed. He will be tried for piracy on the high seas before the Court of Vice Admiralty at St. John. (see original)
