A St. Martin's correspondent under date of April 22nd, writes: James TRACEY, jr., while engaged with a crew of men river driving, met with an accident which cost him his life. The accident occurred at the Block dam on the Irish river, Sunday afternoon last. The gates of the dam were hoisted and a 'head' let on, when Tracey lost his balance and fell over the dam, head first. It is supposed that he struck on some rocks and was killed instantly. Up to a late hour Sunday night the body had not been recovered. Deceased was in the employ of Messrs. Rourke.
