Kings Co., Aug. 21 - ... respecting the death of W.H. SMITH at the home of Dr. SHARP's brother, living between Norton Station and Springfield (Kings Co.). It is pretty well established that Mr. Smith really died of small pox and that aboiut two weeks afterward, G. Whitfield SHARP, another brother of Dr. Sharp , complained of what he thought was a severe cold. About two weeks later still, a five year old boy of his became very ill of small pox.
