The death of Maria Skelton ESTEY relict of Zebulon ESTEY of St. John city took place yesterday morn. Mrs. Estey, who was born in London 80 years ago, came out to Halifax, N.S. when a mere child with her step-father, Thomas LAMB, her mother and sister, and after a brief residence there moved to St. John, which city for the past 70 years she has made her home. Mrs. Estey was a woman of more than ordinary force of character, practical in her ways and keenly alive to all that transpired around her. She was a consistent member of the Brussells Street Baptist Church. She leaves sic children, Fred A. ESTEY, Canadian postal service; T. Winslow ESTEY; James A. ESTEY of Estey, Allwood & Co.; Mrs. W.J. PARKS and misses Lizzie ESTEY and Alice ESTEY.
