Referring to the late Thomas Storrow BROWN, the 'Pilot' says he was a son of the late Henry Barlow BROWN commonly known by the soubriquet of Harry Burry BROWN who was Registrar of Deeds and Wills in Charlotte County to which office he was appointed in the year 1780. He held the office up to September 1797. A reference in the records of All Saints Church shows that Thomas Storrow son of H.B. Brown was buried Oct. 3rd, 1804. While in St. Andrews, H.B. Brown occupied a house situated on Water street, corner of King, now owned and occupied by George F. Campbell, postmaster. T.S. Brown visited St. Andrews a few years ago and applied to Mr. Campbell for permission to look over the house in which he said he was born. The request was cheerfully granted.
