Ald. John H. McROBBIE is a native of St. John, of Scotch descent. He was born on March 3rd, 1850. As a youth he worked in a shoe store, but for years has conducted business for himself in the wholesale and retail shoe and leather business. He was a member of last year's Bisley team and is a crack rifle man. He has never served in a public capacity until elevated this year for Prince ward.
