Sussex (Kings Co.) Sept. 28 - On Wednesday, Sept., an event took place here is which the community seemed to be interested. Rev. A.M. Hubly of Sussex performed the ceremony of marriage between John Wesley HUGHES, locomotive engineer, I.C.R. of Campbellton (Rest. Co.) and Jennie Annette UPHAM youngest d/o Mrs. James UPHAM. The wedding took place at 6:30 a.m. at the residence of A.H. UPHAM, brother of the bride. Miss Florence FOWLER was bridesmaid and the groom was ably supported by Herbert SHERWOOD. Gilbert UPHAM gave the bride to be married. The aged mother, with whom Jennie has resided for a number of years, was the only occupant of the old home, from which a large family left from time to time, to cleave to husband pr wife.
