The Halifax School for the Blind has just entered upon its 22nd year. There were 39 pupils at the close of 1891, an increase of eight in the year - 28 boys and 11 girls. The New Brunswick pupils were Kate McLAUGHLIN, Curryville (Albert Co.); Jas. UPHAM, Prosser Brook; Frederick CAMPBELL and Beverly CAMPBELL, Campbell Settlement; Clifford WILLISTON, Newcastle; Grace AITON, Hartland (Carleton Co.), Frank NIXON, Aberdeen; Jas. STEEVES, Coverdale. One death has occurred during this year, that of Grace Aiton. Among the pupils entered during the year are the following from New Brunswick: Stanley DAY, Moncton; Jessie McARTHUR, Sussex; Jas. STEEVES, Coverdale, Arthur DUFFY, Hillsboro and Adelaide BURLOCK, Foreston.
