The 'Chronicle' states that James ALLEN, master shipbuilder of Bridgewater, N.S. fell into the hold of the new ship "W.J. Lewis" on Wednesday eve. about 8 o'clock and was so badly hurt that he died at 3 o'clock the next morn.
