Grand Falls (Victoria Co.) correspondent - One day last week a man named FAULNER abducted a young girl, a daughter of John McADAM who lives about five miles below here. Faulkner met the girl on the road near her father's house, and knowing that he could not marry her with her parent's consent, he persuaded her to get in the wagon with him and go over the line. Her parents witnessed the abduction and immediately pursued them, but as Faulkner drove too fast for them, they abandoned their pursuit having reached the Limestone (Maine) road.
