As John McLELLAN of Broad Cove, Co. Inverness, C.B. was on his way home from Whycocomah, on the night of 24th ult., it appears he missed his way on Lake Ainslie ice, and perished from exposure, as he was found the following morn. lying on his sled frozen to death. An inquest was held before Duncan McLean, Esq. The deceased was about 56 years of age.
