Chipman (Queens Co.) June 6 - John GARVEY who moved away from here to California more than ten years ago, came back this spring to visit his friends in Chipman and on returning to California stopped at New Britain, Conn., where he intended to take a life partner. On the eve. before, he went out for a walk and not returning his aunt, Mrs. ENGLISH, with whom he stopped, becoming alarmed about his safety, has telegraphed to Fredericton as well as California, but so far no tidings of him can be learned so that it is feared he has met with foul play in New Britain as he took nothing with him.
