Stoneham, Mass. 'Independent' - On last Saturday morn. 6 o'clock, Margaret LOWE wife of Robert W. LOWE died at her home of heart disease. The night before when Mrs. Lowe retired she felt as well as ever. but awoke in the morn. about 15 mninutes of six, suffering a severe pain in the region of her heart. The intense pain caused her to groan, which awoke her daughters who occupied the adjoining room and they hurriedly went to their mother and found her suffering very acutely. The immediately called Mr. Lowe, who slept on the lower floor and a message was at once despatched for Dr. Cowdry who responded at once, but arrived too late to find her alive. She spoke only a few words before death to her children, who were standing around her bed and death came so suddenly that they could hardly realize that their mother had left them. Mrs. Lowe came to Stoneham six years ago from St. John, N.B. where she was born 43 years ago, with her husband and family. She was of a peculiarly genial disposition, always cheerful and pleasant. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Five children and a husband are left to cherish her memory. The funeral services were held at her residence Monday afternoon 2 o'clock, Rev. Edwin Hitchcock officiating. Her sister and niece from St. John, Mrs. Henry BRENNAN and Miss Minnie CURRIE arrived in time for the funeral. Among the bouquets was one from her sister, Mrs. Ed. LEWIS.
